Central and Eastern European Jewish Communities and Organizations Association
The organizations of Central and Eastern European Association of Jewish Communities starting with the foundation works closely with the partner organizations involved, taking on the task of a central location, providing structure for other Jewish organizations.
This role will take on the role of a regional leader of our organization is that the regional and the Jewish culture, traditions regionally relevant, religious and social tradition, besides cherishing lobbying is also loaded with high social engagement.
Debrecen Jewish Quarter is perfect for our organization.
The association is actively involved in organizing the annually held International Conference of Jewish Communities and organizations.
Our association with the aim has been formed to work and idealism of together not only in the Carpathian Basin Jews of religious and secular organizations, but also in the Central and Eastern European region. Central and Eastern European Jewish Communities and Organizations Association as a whole thoughtfully provide coordination assistance to Jewish organizations in the management and coordination of the Jewish organizations in Hungary.
The organization is an initiative of the Jewish Community of Debrecen.
The alliance is a unique and niche Initiative for Central and Eastern European Jewish history, which is support the members of the organization and nurtured in the traditions of Jewish religious, cultural and social fields.
The Jewish Community of Debrecen organized the XII. Hungary and Foreign Religious Communities and Organizations meeting between 23 to 25 September 2011.
On the third day of the conference the presence of Jewish communities and organizations of intent was signed a membership which founded the Central and Eastern European Jewish Communities and Organizations Association. The organization meant to help the work of the members and ideas of religious and secular field. The newly formed association based in the city of Debrecen, and Debrecen Jewish Community headquarters, and Tamás Horovitz chairam.
On 12 of May, 2012, in Debrecen was the founding ceremony, which has been formally established in the Central and Eastern European Jewish Communities and Organizations Association.
